Merz B Schwanen began when vintage clothing aficionado Peter Plotnicki discovered the last factory in Europe still using ringspun knitting machines. He used this discovery to produce new versions of classic styles. The Good Basics range focuses on producing classic, functional clothing out of recycled and sustainable materials to the same high standard of the rest of the company's collection.
